Dear CADS,
As Summer made the most of its final sunny days, a group of us took to the Amsterdam canals for our traditional boat tour. In fact, long-standing CADS members tell met that boat trips may have been a tradition for the best part of the last 40 years!
Everyone seemed to enjoy the trip, although our red wine glasses proved slightly less steady than the rest of us. As the skipper turned into the Keizersgracht, several glasses discovered that the tables were rather slippery, resulting in a few unfortunate red wine spillages.
Thankfully, the wine was not the only thing flowing. There was plenty of laughter, good conversation and great company, making it another memorable CADS outing.
CADS Golf at ESTEC
Our next CADS outing takes us to the spectacular ESTEC golf course in Noordwijk, home to the European Space Agency. With clubs at the ready and the prestigious CADS Golf Trophy up for grabs, the big question is: who will lift the trophy this year? May the best golfer — and perhaps the luckiest — win!
