Commercial Anglo-Dutch Society
The Commercial Anglo-Dutch Society is one of the leading business relationship and networking clubs in the Netherlands. We are a community of individuals united by our business and social network, the gourmet delights of a hearty lunch or dinner and the company of like-minded individuals in the English-speaking business world. We meet monthly, usually for lunch but sometimes for dinner, at the Koninklijke Industrieele Groote Club, Dam Square, Amsterdam, where we host guest speakers on a variety of interesting business topics and enjoy a delicious meal.
History of CADS
CADS was established in 1972 by the then British Consul-General and a number of Anglophile Dutch business people. CADS publishes a regular newsletter, invites members and their guests to a monthly lunch (usually with a guest speaker), organises various social events and raises money for charity.
Our mission is to build relationships and friendships between English-speaking business professionals here in the Netherlands and our Dutch hosts!
It’s a great mission and we certainly enjoy fulfilling it.
Friendship and Goodwill
If you are looking for a friendly Anglo-Dutch club in Amsterdam, one that helps promote goodwill and understanding between the peoples of the United Kingdom, Commonwealth and other English-speaking nations and the Netherlands, then look no further than CADS. Founded over 50 years ago, the Commercial Anglo-Dutch Society’s purpose was, and still is, to provide an informal meeting point for Dutch and English-speaking professionals, to help members improve commercial and cultural contacts and to promote good practice in these fields.
