Risky Sunny, who has replaced Sad David as chancellor, got to present his government’s first budget today. And what a budget it was!

Taking his cue from the party opposite, he looted the Labour Party manifesto for ideas and put those forward as new Tory policy. Borrowing and spending continue to be the keywords of this fiscally irresponsible government that over the past 10 years has doubled the national debt. With a sharp acceleration in both, Risky is hoping to reach the magic £3 trillion national debt figure in the lifetime of one parliament!

Will the government actually manage to fill a pothole or build a house with this borrowed dosh? Or will all the money go on purchasing advice and consultancy services from their pals, as usual?
