It started in the Rijksmusem cafe, then moved on to the gardens where we admired the Joan Miro scuptures, and thence to the Stromma berth across the road.

There we learned that there would be a delay, as the boat was still at Amsterdam Centraal. We chatted in the warm and brilliant sunshine, did lots of networking, and generally enjoyed the views of the canal until our boat arrived. Then we enjoyed a lovely lunch of seafood and salmon, topped off with dessert, and accompanied by unlimited amounts of wine, water, beer and soft drinks. All this whilst touring the canals of Amsterdam, the Amstel, and the harbour.

Finally, by a majority vote we disembarked at Centraal, where those who needed to return to the Rijksmusem boarded a Hopper boat back, and most of us decamped to the SkyLounge of the Doubletree Hilton, where we continued to enjoy the sunshine and a couple of glasses of refreshment before finally setting our for the trek home. A jolly time was had by all, and we determined to repeat the experience next year 🙂

A few photos to remember the day 🙂
